A fisherman discovered a body in Lake Yalpug in the Odessa region. Rescuers quickly arrived to recover the man from the water.

According to the State Emergency Service, the incident was reported on April 6. While fishing in the Izmail district, the fisherman noticed the body about 6 meters from the shore and called for help.

"Rescuers immediately arrived at the scene and assisted in retrieving the body from the water, and the identity of the deceased is currently being established", the statement said.
