The Ukrainian Canoeing Cup occurred from April 23 to 27, 2025, in Uman, attracting around 400 athletes from 20 regions across Ukraine.

Representing Odesa was Albina Yakobchuk, a standout athlete from the Odesa Regional School of Higher Sports Mastery, previously trained at the Comprehensive Children's and Youth Sports School No. 6.

During the competition, Albina secured the following awards:

C-4 500 m event – 1st place,

C-1 1000 m event – 2nd place.

Her coaches include Ilya Fedorenko, Oleg Zhylkin, and Mykola Kravchuk.

In total, 115 athletes are enrolled in the canoeing department at the Children's and Youth Sports School No. 6.
