At CES 2026, Razer officially introduced an updated version of their digital assistant, Project AVA, which was first showcased at CES 2025 as an AI trainer for esports, now rebranded as a comprehensive AI companion for work, gaming, and everyday tasks.
Project AVA features a 5-inch animated holographic avatar with natural facial expressions, eye-tracking, and lip-sync capabilities. Users can customize their avatar by choosing between Razer’s iconic characters, esports personalities, or various “personality” types ranging from bold to calm and friendly.
The device utilizes adaptive artificial intelligence that remembers user preferences and interaction contexts for more personalized suggestions.
Equipped with an HD camera and a long-range microphone, Project AVA enables seamless voice communication, while the PC Vision Mode allows the companion to “see” the PC screen and provide real-time advice—ranging from gaming strategies to productivity tips.
Razer positions AVA not only as a gaming assistant but also as a daily digital companion for all facets of modern life, from scheduling and wardrobe advice to dinner suggestions and brainstorming, as well as data analysis and creative problem-solving. The company emphasizes that AVA aims to be the “ultimate partner” in video games, from strategy games to professional competitions.
Razer has already opened pre-orders for Project AVA, with shipping expected in the latter half of 2026.
