34-year-old athlete from the Odessa Regional Center for Physical Culture and Sports "Invasport" Alexander Litvinenko has claimed a bronze medal at the 2024 Summer Paralympic Games.
The competition was held in class T36 (long jump with movement impairments of all four limbs from mild to moderate) with a result of 5.56 m.
This marks Alexander's second appearance at the Paralympic Games. In 2021 in Tokyo, he finished seventh in the long jump and placed 13th in the 100 meters.
Alexander Litvinenko (coached by Tatiana Orlova) is the first athlete from the Odessa region to earn a medal at the 2024 Paralympics.
